DJ Leko - Explore. This mix set was the first that I mixed up for AntiFMRadio.com. The name"Explore"came from my intention to throw out tracks that are all over the map... from dark to commercial and everything in between. It's highly unconventional, but then again so am I. It starts out hard with a J-Reverse mash-up with Black Legend, and sticks to the electro feel with the commercial hit"Dark Side of the Moon". From there we segue into a vinyl track that I drop in clubs as a bed with acappellas called"Sozinho"by Gui Boratto. The set starts leaning toward tribal with the Kurd Maverick mix of"Pump Up the Jam", which fills the floor without fail. Smash hit"5 in the Morning"by Richard F. was one of my favorite tracks for a while, before I started hearing it everywhere. It anchors the middle of this set, leading into my silver bullet track... Tocadisco's mix of Mylo's"In Your Arms". Even after over a year of spinning it out, without fail a handful of people still ask what that track is each time I play it. From electro I go funky with Kelvin K, a colleague from the UK who definitely has the funky vibe down to a science. Paul Bug's"Be The Fool"then leads into Project Massive. An unconventional remix by Daniel Taylor of the Timo Maas track"First Day"has a bit of a breakbeat feel to it, which makes it near and dear. That is followed by Marco Nastic's"Vanilla", and then the old school track"The Club"by Mr. C. The tribal jam"Rhythm Intoxication"by Rosabel and Murk's"Time"round out the set.
